I find buying presents for the men in my life a really difficult task; when asked they either say they don’t want anything or they seem to want something really basic – socks come to mind! I seem to spend hours on the internet trying to find something they’ll either like or something novelty that will make them smile/laugh. As the years move on I have found it much harder to find unique gifts. That was until I came across Trendhim!
We are very fortunate to have been given opportunities to review many products and share them over the last few years but it’s unusual for Luke to be treated to these opportunities so when I told him we were working with Trendhim, a company based in Denmark, on a gifted collaboration he was pleased to get involved.
Trendhim – who are they?
Trendhim are a menswear and accessory brand founded in late 2007 by Sebastian and Mikkel. Their products are designed in Denmark and they currently have 13 brands in their portfolio. Their vision is that men don’t need an occasion or be a certain type to be able to tell your story – men’s accessories are for everyone and every occasion.
Ordering/Navigating the Website
I was able to navigate the UK website easily, I found it to be informative, quick response times and have a great selection of products. I then gave the website link to my husband (who isn’t great with technology really) and he commented on how easy it was to move between products and find items he really liked. He’s not much of an accessory wearer so he immediately turned to the hats, bags and watches sections and was drawn to how the pictures looked genuinely like the products.
Once added to cart there are two options of delivery available;
- Royal Mail package which typically takes 3-7 working days which is currently £4
- DHL Express Delivery which typically takes 1-2 working days which is currently £12
At the time of writing they are also offering FREE royal mail delivery on all orders over £29 too!
We opted for the standard option which arrived within the 3-7 working day period and I was also pleasantly surprised at how quick Trendhim got the order out – if you order before 4pm on any weekday the order is shipped the same day! Mine definitely was as it arrived so quickly. If you order after 4pm on a friday, saturday or sunday it is shipped on the next working day. We were also provided with a tracking number on our “your order has been shipped” email which meant I was able to see exactly where the parcel was.

Okay – so here’s where the actual product review comes in!
I left Luke in charge of picking something he would actually want/use and as he takes a backpack to work every day he thought it would be nice to change his old one for something that on the website looked quite stylish and trendy.
The Delton Grey Compact Backpack is perfect for everyday use as it is designed to be practical. It has a spacious interior and 4 external pockets. Luke was drawn initially to the minimalistic design and the extra space so was pleased when it arrived as it was bigger than he originally thought.
The canvas material makes the backpack durable, light and comfortable to wear – the smart shoulder straps have a brown trim adding a bit of style to grey tone.

Our Overall Verdict
I have to say what was pictured on the site was actually what arrived – a smart and stylish compact (however not as compact as I’d imagined) Men’s backpack. The design is flawless and the workmanship of the bag is really good. I do like to have a look at the reviews other people have written about a brand and a product especially when I am working with them as I like to give an honest review of brands and I am pleased to say that the majority of reviews I read were very satisfied – both with the Brand themselves and the products received. The only reviews I read that seemed slightly negative were onces about the delivery times – which honestly isn’t entirely the brands fault as they rely on the delivery companies – I would say if you were in a desperate need for the item pay for the express delivery rather than wait for Royal Mail but honestly for us, the item was shipped same day and it arrived with Royal Mail within the time frame provided by Trendhim.
